NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 24 – Four businessmen have been charged with stealing 70,000 litres of Diesel worth Sh13.5 million.
Appearing before a court in Nairobi, they however denied the charges and were released on a Sh500,000 cash bail each.
The prosecution told the court that the diesel belonged to Petro City Energy Kenya Limited.
heir Defence counsel led by Shadrack Wambui pleaded with the court to release the accused on Lenient cash bail terms pending the trial.
The mention has now been set for February 7.
