News of Rihanna and A$ap Rocky’s pregnancy has taken the world by storm.
News tabloids and social media are awash with headlines, memes and pictures of the couple casually strolling the streets of New York.
The new Hollywood sensation has been previously picture on shopping sprees and dinner dates since making their red carpet debut at last year’s Met Gala. During Rihanna’s Cockiness performance at the 2012 Video Music Awards, Rocky famously grabbed the singer’s butt to the glare of cameras and amid deafening screams from the crowd.
Unbeknownst to many, RiRi and Rocky may have been meant to be after all. The latter’s 2013 hit Fashion Killa features Rihanna as Rocky’s love interest in the video. Besides from the pronounced undeniable chemistry they bounce off each other, it is the rapper’s lyric that now proves eerie given their pregnancy news: “She save it so our babies will be flyer than their parents..’’ there! Fashion Killa was Rocky’s fourth single off of his debut album Long.Live.A$ap. The video was the late fashion designer’s Virgil Abloh’s directorial debut.
