NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 6 – An American citizen has been charged with defrauding a Kenyan of Somalia origin Sh3 million in business transactions that never existed.
The accused Von Houten Cornelious Dixonwas was brought before Nairobi Chief Magistrate Wendy Michemi where he denied the charges.
He was given a Sh500,000 bond together with one surety or a cash bail of Sh200,000 and one contact person.
According to the prosecution, Dixonwas told the complaint that he was in a position to franchise Kutiko express Business to Java coffee the fact he knew to be false.
The offence is said to have been committed between December 9 2021 and 30.
