NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 30 – Ben Lang’at has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President (EVP) for Unilever East and West Africa.
Under the new role, he will oversee all country heads in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Francophone Africa, and Uganda.
Lang’at previously worked at FrieslandCampina as the Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company in Nigeria, Aguilera, and Unilever Africa, Caribbean, and Central America.
”I am excited to rejoin Unilever, a company I started my career with and have always held in high regard. My focus will be on driving sustainable growth, fostering innovation, and building resilient businesses with strong brands in both East and West Africa,” Lang’at said after his appointment.
Unilever, in a statement, said that it is confident in Lang’at’s selection, adding that he will propel the firm higher through building sustainable business models.
