EU’s Euroform starts aluminium metalworks operations at Tatu City

Nairobi, Kenya, Sep 27 – European aluminium metalwork producer Euroform has launched its operations in Tatu City, Kiambu County, with a new workshop.

Amit Joshi, Senior Project Manager at Tatu City, said that the facility will churn out EU-standard products and services for its clients, including businesses and residents.

“We are thrilled to welcome Euroform to Tatu City. Their commitment to quality and efficiency aligns perfectly with our standards and the needs of our clients. The completion of this contract with The Link Logistics and Business Park not only demonstrates Euroform’s capabilities but also underscores Tatu City’s position as a hub for international business and investment,” said Joshi.

Piotr Smolarz, Managing Director of Euroform, stated the firm is committed to meeting the growing demand for world-class windows, doors, terrace covers, skylights, and facades across Kenya and the East Africa region.

“We are excited to combine the strengths of Tatu City and Euroform to establish a cutting-edge aluminium metal works production facility. Our goal is to offer products that combine beauty and durability,” said Smolarz, Euroform MD.

The Euroform workshop at Tatu City is staffed with experienced fabricators who have worked in aluminium production for several years.

The facility is also open for walk-in clients, further enhancing accessibility for businesses and residents in Tatu City and Kiambu County.

Euroform’s first major project, the completion of the Link Logistics and Business Park in Tatu City, marks a significant milestone in its business expansion.

The contract includes the supply and installation of aluminium windows and doors, complete with glazing, louvers, and ironmongery.

The project was dependent on high-quality workmanship in production and installation, adherence to required environmental, health, and safety standards, and completion within the agreed timelines.

The Link Logistics and Business Park is the only SME warehousing and logistics park located in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Kenya, offering businesses a unique opportunity to grow in a controlled environment with unmatched tax incentives.

More than 80 local, regional, and global businesses are operational or under development in Tatu City’s business-friendly location, including CCI Global, Heineken, Dormans, Kärcher, and Cooper K-Brands.

Others include Grit Real Estate Income Group, Twiga Foods, Freight Forwarders Solutions, ADvTECH, Friendship Group, and Davis and Shirtliff.

Business benefits at Tatu City SEZ include VAT zero-rating, import and stamp duty exemptions, and 10 percent corporate tax for the first 10 years and 15 percent for 10 years later.
