New Year’s Eve in Nairobi made a splendid comeback after last year’s cancellations. This year the sky lit up with spectacular fireworks display from various buildings in the city including UAP Tower, Serena Hotel amongst others. In many places, empty streets and muted New Year’s Eve celebrations served as a reminder that we are not out of the woods yet just because the calendar has flipped over.
