NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 3 – GOtv has expanded its services to Taita Taveta County as it seeks to grow its customer base.
The company has commissioned its fifth signal transmission site in Taita Taveta targeting at least 53,000 households in the county.
“Taita Taveta is known for its rich biodiversity but has also increasingly become a significant hub for local investment within in the coastal region,” Taita Taveta County Governor Andrew Mwadime said.
“As we expand our partnership with MultiChoice today, we welcome GOtv to Taita Taveta county and look forward to the opportunities that this investment will offer the people of Taita Taveta,” he added.
This now grows its total transmission station to 30 in Kenya, with up to 80 per cent nationwide coverage.
The new transmission, which is located at Mwakingale Hill on the outskirts of Voi Town, will serve residents of Voi Town and its environs, Tsavo East, SDA Taita Village, Manyatta, Maungu, Ndara, Taita Taveta University, Landi, Chakaleri, Mwatunge, Mzwanenyi Ikanga and Ndome.

“We are confident that the residents of Taita Taveta will find great value in our offering which offers a world of entertainment on different packages’, ” she added.
Under GOtv, the pay-tv provider runs over 70 local and international channels on five packages – Supa (Sh.1,599pm), Max (Sh.1,249pm), Plus (Sh.930pm), and Value (Sh.590pm) and Lite (Sh.199pm).
