NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 14 – HF Group has committed to sustainable living with its ongoing and future projects.
The group’s CEO, Robert Kibaara, said that the company is committed to addressing three key pillars of sustainable development goals (SDGs), such as climate action, life on earth, and sustainable cities.
One of the ways to address this is through tree plantations, with the firm aiming to plant 50,000 trees in all of its projects in the country.
Kibaara said yesterday, during the inaugural National Tree Growing Day, that the firm planted over 2,000 seedlings at the group’s latest development, Fahari Residences.
It was part of the government’s target to plant 100 million trees on Monday alone and is intended to help fight climate change while bolstering the country’s forest cover.
“As a responsible organization, we are standing with all Kenyans in defense of our environment through commitment in all our operations to three main SDGS – Climate Action, Life on Earth and Sustainability Cities,” Kibaara added.
