NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 20 – The Human Resource Management Professionals’ Examination Board (HRMPEB) has released the November 2024 Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) exam results, marking another milestone in its mission to elevate HR standards in Kenya.
HRMPEB Chairperson CS Sharon Kisire lauded the Secretariat’s tireless efforts, commending their dedication and sleepless nights that ensured the timely delivery of results. A total of 1,404 CHRP candidates and 223 CBET candidates sat for the exams, reflecting the Board’s commitment to excellence in HR education.
The CBET program, now in its third series, has shown remarkable growth, expanding from 16 students in November 2023 to over 200 in 2024. This growth underscores the program’s increasing relevance and value within the HR industry.
The overall pass rate across the old and revised CHRP curriculums was 89.6%, an improvement from previous cycles.
Meanwhile, the CBET Diploma program recorded an impressive pass rate of 95.13%, showcasing its robust design and alignment with industry demands.
Looking ahead, HRMPEB plans to introduce three annual exam series starting April 2025. This initiative aims to provide greater flexibility and more opportunities for candidates pursuing HR qualifications.
Despite these achievements, the Board highlighted the need to encourage male enrollment in HR programs to foster diversity in the profession.
These efforts reaffirm HRMPEB’s commitment to advancing HR excellence and cultivating a highly skilled workforce to support Kenya’s economic growth and professional standards.
