Investment Authority seeks to fill MD’s vacant post

NAIROBI, Kenya, April 23 – The Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) is looking for a new managing director (MD) to replace June Chepkemei, who was last month appointed Kenya Tourism Board CEO.

A successful candidate will promote and facilitate private investment by both domestic and international investors.

In a statement, KenInvest has urged qualified applicants to submit their credentials no later than May 15, 2024.

“Application for the position of Managing Director- Kenya Investment Authority in PDF format should be submitted by 15th May 2024. (No application will be received or considered after the closing state),” KenInvest stated.

The holder of the office will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the authority, which will include delivering pre-investment facilitation, creating awareness among investors of opportunities, and facilitating post-investment aftercare for both domestic and foreign investors.

“The managing director will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the authority and the authority and for the overall management and provision of strategic leadership at the Kenya investment Authority,” it added.
