NAIROBI, Kenya, May 10 – Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) recently organized the Johnnie Walker concert in Nakuru County with the aim of promoting economic growth in the area.

KBL marketing manager Josephine Katambo expressed satisfaction with the event and the positive impact it had on the local businesses.

The concert attracted a large number of attendees, resulting in increased sales for hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments.

“We are thrilled with the success of the Walker Town Concert Nakuru edition, and we are delighted to have brought significant economic benefits to the local community,” Katambo stated.

The local business owners, including boda boda riders, also experienced a boost in their industry due to the event.

The influx of attendees increased the demand for transportation services, benefiting the boda boda riders and contributing to the overall economic growth in the transport sector.

“There has been an influx of people in the area, which had a positive impact on the local businesses, especially the small businesses like us in the transport sector,” said James Mwango, a bodaboda operator in Nakuru.

“We hope that EABL and other corporates will consider bringing many more such events in the future to Nakuru.”
