Kenyan charged for defrauding a Spanish Sh1.6 million avocado worth

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 4 – A businessman has been indicated for defrauding a foreigner of Sh1.6Milion by pretending he was in position to export avocado to spain.

The accused person, Nelson Ningila Ngui denied the criminal charge before Senior Principal Magistrate Caroline Muthoni Njagi and was ordered to deposit a cash bail of Sh500,000 to secure his release

The court also gave him alternative bond of Sh800,000 and one surety.

The accused is alleged to have defrauded Santi Gomez Guerrero, a Spanish national.

The accused person is said to have committed the offence between 3rd August 2021 and 15th October 2021 in Embakasi sub-county within Nairobi County

He is alleged to have received 13000 Euros; his case will be mentioned on 16th November 2022 for pretrial.
