NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 31 – Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s son Jomo has withdrawn a gun case against the government after a consent was recorded.
Following this, the Chief Fiream licensing officer will not interfere with the licence issued to Jomo.
The consent was recorded by the State and Senior Counsel Fred Ngatia who represents John Jomo Kenyatta.
The consent was confirmed as an order of the court by Justice Jairus Ng’aah.
The order means that Uhuru’s son will continue to hold his firearm and the Licence without Interfearance.
The Chief licencing officer seized the gun in July last year over allegations that he did not possess the license.
The High Court further confirmed that the application for Judicial review filed by Uhuru’s son was marked as settled.
