NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 25 – A group of lawyers has condemned the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) for re-advertising the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer position, terming the move unconstitutional.

The lawyers argued that the decision undermines transparency and due process, raising concerns about the legality and fairness of the recruitment exercise.

“This re-advertisement is a blatant disregard for the principles of accountability and merit-based selection as outlined in the Constitution,” they stated.

KAA has yet to respond to the allegations, but the controversy adds to scrutiny over leadership transitions at state agencies.
