The Nairobi Polo Club lush greenery and picturesque polo field came alive yesterday with the rhythmic beat of hooves and the spirited laughter and fashion of a festive crowd. It was that magical time of the year, where the thrill of the polo event seamlessly merged with the joyous spirit of the holiday season, in an event dubbed Chukkas and Carols.
As always, Men showed up in dapper gears and women adorned in glamorous hats and flowing dresses with the perfect background of the sun dipped low in the sky, casting a warm glow on the elegantly dressed spectators. The air was filled with anticipation as the polo players, mounted on majestic horses, thundered across the field with precision and grace. Capital FM was fully represented on the field, with a team that was absolutely fantastic on the horses.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the crowd gathered for a magical interlude. The atmosphere shifted from the intensity of the polo match to the enchanting melodies of carols, fun and entertainment galore. The festivities continued into the evening, as the stars emerged overhead, casting a shimmering glow on the jubilant crowd. The polo field transformed into an open-air dance floor, where guests twirled and swayed to the rhythm of both classic tunes and contemporary beats.
