This past weekend, the green fields of the Nairobi Polo Club buzzed with excitement as the highly anticipated Horseman Cup Tournament took center stage. From the thundering hooves and intense matches to the attendees, it was most definitely the place to be at this weekend.
The event, a melting pot of sportsmanship and beauty, drew in a crowd that was as stylish as it was enthusiastic about polo. Ladies sashayed through the grounds in flowing sundresses and chic fascinators, exuding timeless sophistication. Men, not to be outdone, sported tailored blazers, crisp white shirts, and smart chinos, embodying the perfect blend of elegance and modernity

Horseman Cup was donated by the family of Rolf Schmid (the late hotelier/ chef). He was an avid sportsman’s representing Kenya as a weight lifter, black belt in Judo and a sharp shooter. He was also an avid accomplished Polo Player.
As the final match concluded and the sun set, it was clear that for many, the memories made were as much about the fashion as they were about the sport. For those who missed it, worry not. Polo season has only just begun, dont miss this weekend’s tournament.
