NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 8 – The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal is open for placement of the 2023 KCSE class in universities, colleges and TVET institutions.
KUCCPS announced the opening of its portal on Thursday inviting Form IV leavers from 2000 to 2022 to also make entries.
“It’s time to apply for your preferred course in an institution of your choice,” KUCCPS stated.
KUCCPS will place students in Universities including the Open University of Kenya (OUK), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) and Teachers Training Colleges (TTCs).
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said applicants have until February 22 to file their entries.
Speaking when he released the 2023 KCSE results on January 8, Machogu said 201,133 candidates attained the minimum university entry grade of C plus.
“This is 22.27 per cent of students attained direct entry into the university,” he observed.
