The Radisson Hotel Group’s properties in Africa gathered together for an auspicious event on February 24, 2023. The Radisson Blu Arboretum, located in Nairobi, was the host of the East Africa GM’s Meet & Sales Blitz. The event took place at the FireLake Grillhouse & Cocktail bar.
The purpose of the event was to focus on the Radisson Rewards program, client appreciation for business generated in FY 2021/22, new client acquisition, and a social meet for the Radisson Hotel Group family in Africa. The cocktail-style event was graced by key industry decision-makers, travel agents, corporate bookers, business community influencers, and media among other key stakeholders.
The event saw hotels from different locations attending, including the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences in Nairobi – Arboretum, Radisson Blu Hotel in Upperhill, Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Blu Kigali, Radisson Blu Addis Ababa, Radisson Blu Johannesburg, Radisson Blu Maputo, and Radisson Blu Capetown.
The meet and cocktail’s theme was in line with the Radisson rewards theme, which was royalty. The event was a great opportunity for the hotels to network and showcase their brands which provided a great platform for attendees to exchange ideas, explore partnerships, and learn about the Radisson Hotel Group’s properties in Africa.

Overall, the East Africa GM’s Meet & Sales Blitz was a great success. It provided an excellent opportunity for hotels to network and showcase their brands, and it was a great way to appreciate clients for their business.
