NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 14 – VFS Global, a global outsourcing and technology services specialist, has been appointed to deliver the United Kingdom’s (UK’s) government visa and passport services across 142 countries in 2024.
VFS Global will deploy 240 Visa and Citizenship Application Service (VCAS) Centres for the UK in 142 countries across Africa and the Middle East, America, Australasia and Europe, China and Taiwan, and the Asia and Pacific regions.
These centers will accept all categories of visa applications as well as UK passport applications overseas, targeting 3.8 million applicants every year.
In the African region, VFS Global will deploy Visa and Citizenship Application Service (VCAS) Centres for the UK in 31 countries, including Kenya, Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, and Ghana.
Others are Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Senegal, the Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
