TESO, Kenya, Oct 17 – A 62 year old woman from Busijo village in Samia sub county is nursing serious injuries at Sioport hospital after her house roof collapsed on her following the ongoing down pour in Busia county.
Magret Anyango escaped death narrowly after her roof was blown off inflicting serious damage on her though her four grandchildren escaped the tragedy.
This comes just one week after 40 families in Nambale lost their homes following the ongoing rainfall.
Last night Two classrooms at Apegei primary school in Teso south sub county were destroyed by wind even as the residents continue to call on the disaster committee to address the situation within the county.
