Amanda Seales had recently visited Kenya back in January and we had the privilege of having a fun interview with her in studio! Live and in stereo, it was exciting.

Matte makeup or Dewy makeup
I’m doing dewy anytime! I wanna look fresh faced and as natural as possible and to tell you the truth……I don’t even like foundation anymore so I’m not even wearing makeup anymore……you might see a lip though, I like lipstick (pouts).
Braids or Wig
It depends! I like braids for travel then I don’t have to do my hair at all! You just throw it on and move on out but if you are on TV, a wig is really nice because then you can get there kinda late in the morning cause you don’t know how to do your hair and they just put a wig on and we move on out!
Dancehall music or Hiphop music
Oouu again….depends on the situation! But I feel like if I had to choose I’m going to go with hiphop, I love the raps….what can I say? (smiles).
Air Jordans or Air max
Wow! These are really tough questions (screams)….my younger self would probably say Air Jordans but my older self likes more comfort and say Air max.
Beach or bush
I’m going with the beach, I’m an island girl and I’m always going to choose the ocean!
Summer or winter
Give me summer! I like it hot, winter feels like a waste of my time.
Lipgloss or lipstick
I like lipstick and pop of colour and I want people to like focus on what I am saying.
Runny eggs or we’ll done eggs
I like well done eggs, I don’t like the consistency of runny eggs, it’s like…… nasty.
Coffee or tea
I don’t like coffee and as you can see I already have a lot of energy! I don’t need anymore else so give me tea.
Sushi or steak
I’m going to go with sushi, its healthier and more natural.
Red wine or white
Neither! not a fan of wine.
Standup comedy or sketch comedy
If I’m doing it, standup and if I’m watching it…. sketch comedy.
Road-trip or air travel
Depends on where you’re going, some places are so picturesque that you want to ride in a car like I heard that we could have flown to the Maasai Mara but I’m so glad that we drove because we got to see so much of Kenya on the way there, the Rift Valley, we got to stop at the curio shop and really got to see just more of the country.
Checked luggage or hand luggage
You know I am not someone who likes to check luggage but I have a radio show now and I have to carry my equipment everywhere now so I have to check my luggage all the time, its very annoying I’m trying to land and get to where I’m going.
Margarita or Negroni
I don’t know what a negroni is so I’m going to go with a margarita.
French kiss or pecks
Virgin (laughs) You know pecks get you through the day but a French kiss gets you open.
Texts or calls
Listen. It’s really about knowing when to call and when to text. Some people try to call you and I’m like you could have texted that and sometimes people are texting you and I’m like this is a novel pick up the phone! So I like both.
Cooking or eating out
Well since I just spent 7 moths renovating my kitchen…… we’re cooking!
Prints or solid color

Cats or fogs
Oh do’t do that to me! I have both. I mean I like cats for their independence and I like dogs for their loyalty.
Barbecue night or game night
Ouuu I love a game night because I like to win and you can’t really win a chicken.
French nails or coffin
I’m going to go with neither because I like to wipe my booty really good in there you know what I mean? And I don’t really feel like y’all are doing that with these nails.
Acting or hosting
Oh i’m going to choose hosting anytime, I really like speaking and I really feel like I’m my best in my own words.
Morning person or night owl
Hmm i’m a morning person, I wake up every morning like “Hello! what are we going to do today?” and then I argue with people on the internet for an hour and then I hit the road!
What are your top 3 best memories you have made in Kenya?
Hmm number one is seeing the Kenyan national park for the first time and its expansiveness of it is something I will never forget it my eyes were like whaaaattt same with the Rift Valley.And I really got to spend a lot of time with a lot of dope people and I really don’t really like people so for that many people at the same time to like not annoy me is incredible and I think that us being in Kenya was a big reason why that was the case.
