NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 3 – Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has urged the National Youth Service (NYS) Recruitment officers to uphold integrity and accountability throughout the exercise set to kick off on Monday.
In a statement, the CS stressed the need to maintain the highest level of professionalism so as to promote the success of the recruitment drive.
“Your commitment to ensuring a transparent and equitable recruitment process is highly valued, and your leadership in the matter will undoubtedly contribute to the success of this important national exercise,” he stated.
He has further encouraged the need for open communication and periodical monitoring in the exercise to ensure that any concern that may arise during the drive has been addressed swiftly.
The CS has further urged the officers to adhere to the distribution for all the personnel who will be involved in the drive.
“You are guided to emphasize the importance of adhering to the importance of adhering to the distribution outlined in the schedule to all the personnel involved, including recruitment officers, supervisors, and any other relevant parties,” he stated.
The recruitment exercise will be ward-based where every ward is set to receive 15,000 recruits.
