Fem Cab to enter Kenya’s online taxi services

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 3 – Ride-hailing platform Fem Cab is set to launch its operations in Kenya in the middle of this month as it seeks to grow its online taxi services in the country.

The start-up announced that Nairobians will be able to book rides starting February 16, 2024.

“No more waiting on the streets for a cab! With Fem Cab, you can request a ride with just a few taps on your smartphone, track your driver’s location in real-time, and enjoy a seamless payment experience,” Elizabeth Kemunyo, Fem Cab CEO, said.

“Whether you’re heading to work, meeting friends, or exploring the city, Fem Cab is here to make your transportation hassle-free.”

The firm will be competing with established brands such as Uber, Bolt, and Faras, among others.
