NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 8 – Nairobi has been selected to host the Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge (AYTIS) for the 3 consecutive years starting 2025 to 2027.
The summit will be hosted by Tourism Events Advisory and Management Services Africa (TEAMS Africa), a partnership of renowned tourism industry experts Håvar Bauck and Barry Clemens.
This prestigious Pan-African event targets to promote and uplift innovative entrepreneurs within the tourism sector across the continent.
“Tourism Events Advisory and Management Services Africa (TEAMS Africa), will host the upcoming summits in Nairobi. The exact dates and venue for the 2025 Summit will be announced later this month,” TEAMS Africa stated.
Africa Tourism Partners, led by seasoned travel industry expert Kwakye Donkor, revealed that the event plans to host 800 participants in 2025.
He added that the summit will provide a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs to network, learn, and collaborate.

We are delighted to bring AYTIS to Nairobi in partnership with TEAMS Africa. The announcement follows the successful 2024 AYTIS held in Windhoek, Namibia, which attracted over 500 delegates.
The event brought together 300 entrepreneurs, in addition to senior government officials, and industry leaders from across Africa, fostering collaboration and showcasing the continent’s burgeoning tourism potential.
The Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge is an annual Pan-African event that seeks to empower young entrepreneurs by providing a platform for innovation, networking, and investment in the tourism sector.
The summit brings together stakeholders from across the continent to collaborate on advancing Africa’s tourism potential.
