Kisii High court upholds election for Nyaribari Masaba MP Daniel Manduku

KISII, Kenya, Feb 18 – Kisii high court this has upheld the election of Daniel Manduku as Nyaribari Masaba member of parliament.

Judge Hedwig Ongudi, dismissed the petition filed by three contestants citing insufficient evidence.

In the August 9, 2022 general elections, IEBC announced Dr. Daniel Manduku of ODM as the winner after he garnered a total of 16303 votes.

3 of the contestants Elijah Mosomi, Benard ONDARI and Laban Chweya petitioned Mandukus win claiming that the whole election process was marred by massive irregularities.

Judge Ongudi ordered the petitioners to pay the cost of Kshs 20M .
