KISUMU, Kenya, June 6 – At least two demonstrators have died in Kisumu in the ongoing anti IEBC protests.
According to our reporter one person was shot next to Imperial hotel along Jomo Kenyatta highway, while the other died next to Lands offices.
Police have declined to give more information with the regional police coordinator Willy Lugusa saying he has not received any report on the killings so far.
Ambulances from Kenya Red Cross and County hospital have been dispatched going round the town and estates to respond to the injured people.
Businesses in the town have been closed with many premises attacked by the protesters damaging glasses and other property.
Police are still engaging the protesters.
