NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 24 – Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora affairs Musalia Mudavadi has emphasized need to develop law governing transition of executive power after elections.
Speaking Friday during the launch of the Social Transformation through Access to Justice (STAJ) 10 -year Blueprint, Mudavadi said that the existing gap in the law needs to be addressed in order to guide clearly the transition process of Cabinet secretaries and Principle Secretaries, during government appointments.
“When does a minister step out of office incase of change of government? There is a gap there that needs to be addressed because a lot happens during the transition process,” said Mudavadi.
Mudavadi also commended the Judiciary for it’s people centered justice approach system stating that establishment of high courts in all the 47 counties across the Country has allow easy access to justice.
He noted that the utilization of technology by the Judiciary has easened the case filling process therefore promoting easy access to justice.
Mudavadi furthur revealed that Kenya is attracting alot of foreign investors because of its credible elections during the last 15 years.
