NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 24 – President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to unite especially during the festive season to aid the less fortunate in the society.
While wishing Kenyans a merry Christmas, the head of state urged Kenyans to show concern for others in the spirit of unity.
“Once again the time has come for us to gather as families, as communities, and as a nation to commemorate a singular event the birth of the world’s most transformative individual, Jesus Christ,” the president said.
“As we gather with our families, and our communities to celebrate the joyous occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, may we reach out to our brothers and our sisters in need with a loving hand, a kind word, a warm meal, and other gifts,” the president said.
The First Lady has urged Kenyans to cherish the bonds that make Kenya a resilient and vibrant nation.
“As we celebrate with our loved ones, let us cherish the bonds that make us a resilient and vibrant nation,” she said.
The president has urged Kenyans to look up to a new year filled with hope, progress, and shared prosperity.
