
KIGALI, Rwanda, Oct 28 – President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret arrived in Kigali on Monday morning for a three-day official visit.
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, the President and the First Lady were received by senior Rwandan Government officials led by Justice Minister John Busingye and Kenyan High Commissioner John Mwangemi.
Thereafter, the President inspected a Guard of Honour mounted by a detachment of the Rwandan Defence Forces.
Later, President Kenyatta was formally received by his host President Paul Kagame at Urugwiru State office, the venue of the 3rd Tripartite Infrastructure Summit.
Other Heads of State attending the summit are Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Salva Kiir of South Sudan and the host President Kagame.
On Tuesday President Kenyatta will lead the Kenyan delegation at the Transform Africa ICT Summit, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
