NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 25 For the second consecutive year, Twiga Tours has been named the World’s Leading Safari Company at the prestigious World Travel Awards.

The Kenyan-based travel firm outshone six competitors, including Africa Uncovered, Go2Africa, Private Safaris, Rhino Africa, Safari.com, and Sun Safaris, to secure the accolade.

Twiga attributed the achievement to the dedication of its team, guides, global partners, and loyal guests.

“This recognition highlights the collective effort and passion of our team and partners who continuously deliver exceptional safari experiences,” the company stated.

The firm has won four awards from the World Travel Awards this year, including Africa’s Responsible Tourism Award 2024, Kenya’s Leading Safari Company 2024, and Tanzania’s Leading Safari Company 2024.

Founded by Minaz Manji and his late father after returning from the UK, Twiga Tours offers safari experiences across Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda, featuring iconic destinations like the Maasai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.

In 2022, Twiga was named the World’s Leading Tour Company and has previously earned accolades such as the World’s Responsible Tourism Company (2013) and the World’s Leading Luxury Safari Company.

The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, celebrate excellence across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors globally.
