10 million USD bounty announced for DusitD2 terror attack mastermind Mohamoud Abdi Aden

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 12 – The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the United States Embassy has announced a 10-million-dollar bounty on the 2019 DusitD2 terror attack mastermind.

Speaking during a press conference on Thursday, DCI boss Amin Mohamed indicated that Abdi Aden is believed to be the leader behind the attack that killed over 19 people.

He stated that the government will continue to share information on various fugitives who hide in the country.

On that day, the attack began when four gunmen threw bombs at vehicles in the car park before entering the lobby, where one blew himself up.
