KISII, Kenya, Sep 26 – Esise ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Josiah Mangere has tabled a notice of motion to impeach Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo from office.
This came shortly after the MCAs returned from recess whereby 27 out of 34 MCAs attended the morning session.
” I hereby table a notice of motion to be debated,”Said the MCA.
So far 15 out of 34 MCAs have appended and verified their signatures in support of the motion.
The MCAs moved the motion on ground of Misuse of office,incompitence, corruption and Nepotism by the governor.
The session was adjourned to 2:30 for debating.
