KISII, Kenya Dec 25 – Inmates at the Kisii main prison have a reason to smile this Christmas after receiving goodies from Kisii High court presiding judge Justice Rose Augo and Law Society of Kenya South Nyanza judicial officers.
The officials donated food and non-food items to the inmates in the spirit of community work.
“We are here to celebrate with our inmates because they are part of us, them being in prison is a way of correcting themselves and come back to us,” said LSK South Nyanza branch Chairperson Wilkings Ochoki.
The officials visited the prison centre and shared a meal with the inmates on Tuesday.
